The third category are the pneumatic elevators which are the most advanced. These elevators consist of a large polycarbonate tube which has a tube inside within which the cab works with air pressure. This tube can be installed without the need to build a shaft or a machine room and can be fitted without any retrofitting required. So if you aren’t planning any renovation in your office this option may be the most appropriate.
  • Cost of the elevator: The cost of the elevator depends upon the type of elevator you choose (out of the three listed above) and whether the elevator is being installed while constructing a new office or while retrofitting an old one. One must remember to include the cost of the elevator, installation costs, cost of constructing a machine room and for the electrical wiring work which may be required.
  • Adherence to the safety guidelines: It is important to ensure that the service provider adheres to the local safety guidelines while installing the elevator to avoid any risk in the future.
  • Choosing a service provider: You must remember to choose a service provider who is known for making commercial elevators and has a proven track record of installing the same in your local area.
